Business Analyst

HCLTech is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate will analyze business processes, gather and document requirements, and support the delivery of technology-driven solutions that align with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders
• Work closely with product owners, developers, QA teams, and business users to ensure clear understanding of requirements
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows
• Conduct gap analysis, impact analysis, and feasibility studies
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by preparing test scenarios, coordinating testing activities, and validating outcomes
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and requirement review sessions with stakeholders
• Ensure requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle
• Assist in process improvement initiatives and recommend data-driven solutions
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and documentation for management and project teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in an IT or technology-driven environment
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Proficiency in requirement-gathering techniques such as interviews, workshops, and documentation reviews
• Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, SQL, Excel, or similar
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working with cross-functional and global teams
• Exposure to domains such as Banking, Healthcare, E‑commerce, SaaS, or ERP systems
• Knowledge of data analysis, reporting tools, or APIs
• BA certifications (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA) are a plus
