Sr Project Manager - US Remote

The Sr Project Manager will oversee the development and implementation of products or services, managing projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget, while leading cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Manages the development and/or implementation of Motorola Solutions products or services
• Coordinates departmental or cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgraded existing products or services
• Manages projects from inception to completion (or transition), including tracking and evaluation of project performance
• Ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and within accepted quality metrics
• Participates in project review and status meetings, and communicates project status
• Utilizes project management methodologies to ensure maximum project effectiveness
• Motivates project team to ensure optimal performance
• May assist in the development of business plans, strategies, and approaches to take advantage of business opportunities

Requirements:

• High School diploma, Bachelor Degree in Business, Communications, Finance, Management, or Technology
• Must be able to obtain a background clearance as required by our government customers
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position
• Must be willing to travel (75%)
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check, pass and maintain CJIS Security and Privacy: Privileged Role certification requirements
• Bachelor Degree in Business, Communications, Finance, Management, or Technology preferred
• 5+ years of public safety Project Management experience managing complex deployments and/or software application deployments for State and Local public safety government agencies
• Remote position based in the United States
• Skilled in using Microsoft Project and similar applications for project schedule planning
• Experience with project risk assessment and risk mitigation strategies
• Must be a self-motivated team player able to work effectively with general guidance toward objectives
• Must have excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• PMP Certification
