Graduate Trainee/Apprenticeship – Global Legal
Apprenticeship is a 12-month program that will provide a comprehensive learning experience, blending theoretical knowledge with on-the-job training. Over the 12-month period, apprentices at Russell Investments will gain valuable exposure to industry while developing essential soft skills and acclimating to a professional corporate environment.

Role Summary
The Company Secretary Apprentice will support RIIV India and company secretarial teams with corporate governance, statutory compliance, entity management, and board/committee administration. The role offers hands-on India co-sec experience, along with exposure to global co-sec matters across multiple jurisdictions.
Qualifications
Candidate should have completed or be appearing for the ICSI Professional Programme and should be seeking to complete the mandatory 12-month practical training requirement under ICSI.
Strong preference will be given to candidates who are pursuing or have completed a degree in Law from a recognized university.
Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining statutory registers, minute books, corporate records, and other company secretarial documentation.
Support preparation of notices, agendas, minutes, resolutions, extracts, and other documents for board, committee, and shareholder meetings.
Assist with e-filings, annual returns, event-based filings, and other submissions with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and other regulators, under supervision.
Help maintain regulatory calendars, track statutory deadlines, and coordinate timely completion of routine compliance activities.
Support entity management activities, including collation and maintenance of director, shareholder, authorised signatory, and corporate information.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external service providers, including auditors, consultants, lawyers, and company secretarial service providers.
Assist with KYC, due diligence, regulatory, audit, and internal governance requests by preparing and organising relevant documentation.
Candidate Requirements
Strong interest in company secretarial, corporate governance, compliance, and legal operations.
Good drafting skills and ability to prepare clear, accurate, and well-organised documentation.
Strong attention to detail, with a process-focused and deadline-conscious approach.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, follow up proactively, and seek guidance where required.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
Comfortable handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and basic document management tools.
