Electrical Engineer

They are seeking experienced electrical engineers and motor specialists with deep knowledge of electric motor sizing and selection for Variable Speed Drive (VSD) applications to share their expertise and insights.

Responsibilities:

• Sizing and selecting electric motors for Variable Speed Drive (VSD) or variable frequency drive (VFD) applications
• Applying technical criteria, engineering methodologies, and expert judgment in motor selection processes
• Incorporating energy-efficiency considerations into motor and drive system design decisions
• Identifying and addressing common challenges in motor sizing, thermal management, and application compatibility
• Understanding barriers to energy-efficient motor adoption in industrial or commercial settings
• Collaborating with engineers, energy managers, and equipment manufacturers on motor and drive system optimization
• Working in European, Chinese, or North American industrial or energy sectors

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in motor engineering, VSD/VFD applications, or industrial energy efficiency
