South Asia Textiles Limited is a fully owned subsidiary of Hayleys Fabric PLC which is a leading weft knit fabric manufacturer in Sri Lanka situated in Pugoda. 

Technical Executive – Dye House  

We are happy to extend the opportunity to a self-motivated individual with commitment, initiative and enthusiasm, to join our Dye House Team and gain the exposure required to secure an eminent position in the corporate world. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the dyeing process to enhance quality, productivity, and efficiency.

• Conduct root cause analysis for dyeing defects and process deviations.

• Recommend, implement, and monitor corrective, containment, and preventive actions to eliminate recurring issues.

• Support new product development activities, including process trials, recipe optimization, and bulk implementation.

• Monitor dye house performance indicators and identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.

• Work closely with Production, Quality Assurance, and Laboratory teams to ensure consistent product quality.

• Assist in standardizing best practices and maintaining process documentation.

   

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Textile Engineering, Textile Technology, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in fabric dyeing operations.

• Strong knowledge of textile dyeing processes, chemicals, color management, and quality control systems.

• Ability to analyze technical issues and implement effective solutions.

• Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
