Responsibilities include:
Plans and manages teams in collecting and organizing data to ensure the organization, integrity, and governance of the organization’s data.
Provides or manages teams that provides business intelligence and strategic planning support for business segments or the company at large by extracting, processing, preparing and applying knowledge to deliver business relevant insights from data across a broad range of application domains.
Advises business groups by providing technical and strategic support that identify and address business issues and opportunities.
Plans, coordinates, and administers server databases including definition, structures, documentation, upgrades, and long-range requirements, operational guidelines, and protection.
Work with customers to support the company’s operational, infrastructure, and project needs. Ensures accuracy and completeness of data in master files and various support tools.
Coordinate, and administer database functions, documentation, upgrades, lifecycle, long-range requirements, operational guidelines, and data protection.
Develops and administers security integrity controls. Creates policies, procedures, and standards relating to database management.
Manage the health and the capacity of production databases by establishing audits/traces, analyzing database performance issues and implementing solutions.
Troubleshooting, recovery, refining the database, installing software, resolving errors and failures, auditing activities, and resource utilization.
Collaborate with worldwide counterparts to coordinate database activities (passwords, releases, upgrades, etc.).
Design and create the infrastructure solutions for enterprise databases.
Evaluate and advise project managers on database options, cost, licensing and support.
Provide effort estimation for projects and coordinate database support required for projects.
Maintain support documentation, including: FAQs, Knowledge Articles, On-call Guides, Run Books,
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field, and 8 years of post-baccalaureate, progressive experience involving Oracle database administration and management. Experience to include 4 years working in a 300mm semiconductor factory, 3 years in Shareplex or Golden Gate replication setup and optimization, and 3 years in Microsoft SQL Server Administration.
