Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Data Reporting & Compliance:
- Support the Director in ensuring accurate and timely submission of all required state and federal reports.
- Monitor district data systems to ensure compliance with reporting requirements and regulatory guidelines.
- Coordinate data validation processes and identify potential reporting issues prior to submission deadlines.
- Collaborate with Student Information System (SIS) team to ensure data structures support required reporting processes.
- Maintain documentation of reporting processes, business rules, and data definitions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive guidance of documentation for district and school staff regarding data collection, coding, and reporting procedures.
- Translate complex federal and state reporting requirements into clear operational procedures.
- Create job aids, procedural manuals, and reference guides for school and district personnel.
- Maintain centralized knowledge of repositories and reporting guidance resources.
- Design and deliver professional learning sessions for school and district staff related to data entry, reporting compliance, and data quality.
- Develop and maintain asynchronous training resources including videos, guides, and toolkits.
- Provide ongoing consultation and support to schools regarding reporting requirements and data accuracy.
- Collaborate with the data analytics team on the development of dashboards, reports, and analytics tools to monitor data quality, compliance, and reporting readiness.
- Analyze district data trends to identify potential issues affecting funding, accountability, or reporting compliance.
- Provide regular reports and insights to district leadership regarding reporting status and data integrity.
- Partner with research, accountability, and IT teams to improve data governance practices.

- Collaborate with technology and SIS teams to design and refine data systems that support efficient reporting processes.
- Identify opportunities to automate data validation and reporting workflows.
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to data collection, reporting processes, and documentation.
Collaboration & Leadership:
- Serve as a liaison between district departments, school staff, and external agencies regarding reporting requirements.
- Participate in statewide data or accountability networks and professional organizations.
- Support cross-departmental initiatives that rely on accurate student and program data.
- Provide leadership to a team of Student Information Specialists responsible for direct school support.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in education, data analytics, information systems, public administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Three (3) years of experience with K–12 data systems, student information systems, and/or accountability reporting.
Experience with state and federal education reporting requirements.
Experience developing training materials or professional learning.
Experience with SQL preferred.
Strong written communication skills for developing standard operating procedure documentation.
Ability to lead professional learning and communicate technical topics to a broad audience.

Must be regularly, predictably, and reliably at work.
Ability to be present at the physical worksite.
Must perform tasks involving prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting.
Must perform routine physical activities such as bending and lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds.
