Senior Dynatrace & Observability Engineer

We are seeking a senior-level subject matter expert to coordinate, design, and manage enterprise-wide monitoring and observability solutions. You will onboard applications into Dynatrace, automate monitoring configurations, and lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) across hybrid, multi-cloud, and microservices architectures.

Top Required Skills (Must Have)

• Dynatrace: 5+ years of hands-on experience, including Dynatrace Managed to SaaS migration (Required).
• Cloud & Infrastructure: Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, VMware, and Multi-Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Automation: 5+ years of scripting experience using PowerShell or Bash.
• Observability Strategy: Proven ability to establish baseline monitoring thresholds, KPIs, and SLAs.
• Networking & ITSM: Solid understanding of core networking (DNS, TCP/IP, Load Balancing) and integrations with ServiceNow or Jira.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional (Highly Preferred).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes or container monitoring.
• Experience within regulated or enterprise ITIL environments.

Core Responsibilities

• Configure, optimize, and scale end-to-end visibility using Dynatrace.
• Support synthetic monitoring, log analysis, and real user monitoring (RUM).
• Develop dashboards, automated alerts, and health checks to eliminate false positives.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to proactively resolve bottlenecks.
