Finance Operations Manager (PT, Drone AI tech scaleup)

Archangel Autonomy is a growing defence AI technology business in central Oxford. They are seeking a Finance Operations Manager to oversee finance operations, accounting, and project finance while contributing to the scalability of the finance function as the company grows.

Responsibilities:

• Own day-to-day finance operations, including bookkeeping oversight, month-end close, management accounts, reconciliations and financial reporting
• Lead VAT, annual accounts, R&D tax credit, grant finance, financial controls, PO/AP processes, supplier onboarding, cashflow forecasting, budgeting, capital management and liquidity reporting
• Maintain project profitability reporting, revenue recognition schedules and contract performance monitoring
• Support project costing, pricing, financial modelling, contract and grant compliance, government-funded project reporting, supplier management and procurement activities
• Build a scalable finance function by improving systems, personnel resourcing, integrations, workflows and processes
• Provide strategic support through due diligence, financial analysis and business case development
