Senior Software Engineer

The Senior Software Engineer will lead the design and development of significant software features, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance software products.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of significant software features or projects
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and provide technical guidance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and prioritize software requirements
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high-quality code standards
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues and bottlenecks
• Contribute to the improvement of development processes and software architecture
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to debug and improve products
• Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, code comments, clear and efficient code
• Assist in code reviews and enforce standard practices within the team
• Continuously learn and adapt to modern technologies and development practices

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in backend technologies: Java (Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Batch)
• Bachelor's degree in related field or an equivalent combination of professional experience and/or training required
• Effective leadership, communication and influencing skills
• Helpful to have experience in working in a full stack environment with a deep understanding of software architecture and design principles
• Experienced in writing unit/functional tests to drive up code coverage and automation metrics
• Experience building highly scalable web applications
• Experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, batch, RDS, Elasticache
• Experience with DevOps processes and tools
• Experience with Agile software development
• Experience with front end technologies including: JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular and React
