LockedIn is a technology company focused on reducing mobile phone distractions in schools and workplaces. They are seeking a Business Development Representative to drive new customer acquisition and expand their presence in the education and workplace markets.
Responsibilities:
- Research target accounts, identify key decision-makers, and engage prospects via email, phone, and virtual meetings
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads, conduct discovery conversations, and clearly communicate LockedIn’s value proposition to administrators, school leaders, and business stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with marketing and sales leadership to refine outreach strategies, build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, and schedule product demos for account executives
- Maintain accurate CRM records, track activity and results, and share market feedback to help improve messaging, product positioning, and go-to-market efforts
Requirements:
- Strong Inside Sales and Lead Generation skills, with experience managing a high volume of outreach and qualifying opportunities
- Proven Sales and Business Development abilities, including building pipelines, nurturing relationships, and supporting deal progression
- Excellent Communication skills, with clear, empathetic, and persuasive written and verbal communication across multiple channels
- Comfort working remotely, with strong time management, organization, and self-motivation in a goal-oriented environment
- Proficiency with CRM tools and basic sales technology (e.g., email sequencing, video conferencing, and productivity platforms)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in sales, business, or a related field
