Health Information Associates (HIA) is seeking a results-driven Business Development Representative to drive new pipeline creation through proactive outbound prospecting. This role focuses on identifying, engaging, and qualifying new business opportunities while setting high-quality discovery calls and meetings for the Business Development team.
Responsibilities:
- Independently research and identify high-value prospects using HubSpot, LinkedIn, and other data sources
- Execute high-volume, high-quality outbound prospecting through cold calls, email, social outreach, and multi-channel campaigns
- Conduct market research and formulate strategies to execute successful service line and geographic based prospecting
- Engage in service line–specific and geographic based prospecting to achieve HIA’s expansion goals
- Qualify prospects by uncovering business needs, challenges, buying triggers, and decision-making processes
- Set qualified discovery calls, meetings, and/or demonstrations for Business Development Managers
- Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely records of all prospecting activities within HubSpot
- Partner closely with Marketing to refine outreach strategies, targeting, and messaging
- Consistently meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly activity and meeting-setting goals
- Stay current on HIA’s services, value propositions, competitive landscape, and industry trends
Requirements:
- Previous successful outbound prospecting, lead generation, or sales development experience
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding activity and meeting-setting targets
- Strong cold-calling skills with confidence engaging senior-level stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience prospecting into healthcare organizations preferred
- Proficiency with CRM and prospecting tools (HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator preferred)
- Highly organized, self-directed, and disciplined in managing daily outreach activities
