The Sales Development Representative will play a critical role in driving expansion among existing accounts by conducting outbound prospecting, account research, and collaborating with team members to optimize sales strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Execute strategic outbound outreach campaigns to net-new sales targets within existing hierarchies using cold calls, targeted emails, and personalized LinkedIn messaging to secure qualified meetings for Account Managers
- Conduct deep research on target accounts and specific healthcare market trends (such as shifting reimbursement models or clinician turnover) to tailor your messaging, navigate complex organizational structures, and refine your sales talk tracks
- Leverage Salesforce CRM and Outreach.io to organize prospect lists, manage high-volume outreach sequences, meticulously record notes, and track daily progress against KPIs
- Assist with continuous data clean-up, lead/account validation, and contact information enrichment to ensure high accuracy within Salesforce
- Actively participate in team meetings, share best practices, and collaborate closely with regional sales members and cross-departmental teams to optimize strategy
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher required
- Highly motivated, resilient, and possess a competitive drive to exceed target goals
- Proficiency in leveraging AI tools (such as Gemini) to enhance productivity, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) or Google Workspace equivalents
- Must be entirely comfortable executing high-volume cold outreach and articulating value propositions to senior healthcare leaders (Director, VP level, and above)
- Exceptional written, verbal, and active listening communication skills across email, messaging platforms, and phone calls
- Diligent time management habits and the ability to thrive in a highly autonomous work environment utilizing proactive problem-solving skills

- Prior experience in cold outreach, business development, customer service, telemarketing, or other customer-facing roles
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce is a plus but not required. Training will be provided
- Familiarity with Outreach.io or similar sales engagement and automation tools is a plus
- Background, education, internship, or professional experience in healthcare environments such as Physical Therapy (PT/OT/SLP), nursing, healthcare administration, acute care, post-acute care, home health, or hospice is preferred
- Demonstrated experience through internships, campus leadership, athletics, student organizations, fundraising, retail, hospitality, customer service, or sales-related activities is highly valued
