Literati is focused on enhancing literacy for children through its book fairs in schools. The Business Development Representative (BDR) will connect with schools to secure book fair events, achieve sales targets, and promote the importance of reading. This role emphasizes building relationships with educators and driving market growth through strategic outreach.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve quarterly/annual book fair booking quotas and territory growth goals
- Execute strategic outbound calling campaigns
- Drive territory market penetration and growth
- Develop and implement comprehensive territory plans
- Deliver compelling district and school presentations
- Maintain accurate CRM documentation
- Compete effectively in the marketplace

Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of account or territory management experience
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
- Successful outbound cold calling background
- Consistent history of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Reliable high-speed home internet connection required
- Experience working with educational institutions is preferred
- Mac computer proficiency is advantageous
