IT Project Manager Contractor: 6-9 years (Advanced)

SGF Global is seeking an IT Project Manager Contractor to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects. The role involves developing project plans, coordinating meetings, identifying risks, and ensuring timely project delivery while managing stakeholder alignment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation
• Coordinate meetings and ensure stakeholder alignment
• Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies
• Monitor progress and provide regular status updates
• Ensure timely, within-scope, and budget-compliant project delivery
• Drive remediation initiatives for clients by tracking open asks, prioritising work, and keeping delivery on schedule
• Coordinate stakeholders across Cyber and Infrastructure/Technology Strategy to align on scope, owners, and dependencies
• Support end-to-end resolution of identified issues (e.g., coordination on closure of IOPs), ensuring actions are documented and followed through
• Apply technical knowledge to assess issues and recommend practical remediation strategies in partnership with delivery teams
• Maintain clear status reporting (progress, risks, blockers, next steps) and escalate as needed

Requirements:

• 6-9 years of experience as an IT Project Manager
• Ability to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects
• Experience in developing project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation
• Ability to coordinate meetings and ensure stakeholder alignment
• Experience in identifying and mitigating project risks, issues, and dependencies
• Ability to monitor progress and provide regular status updates
• Experience in ensuring timely, within-scope, and budget-compliant project delivery
• Technical understanding of IT infrastructure to develop project/mitigation plans
• Extensive experience in handling issues and opportunities
• Excellent reporting and project handling in highly complex environments
• Intermediate knowledge in Cyber Strategy
• Intermediate knowledge in Infrastructure Security
• Advanced knowledge in Project Management
• Intermediate knowledge in Threat Assessment & Remediation Analysis
