GLOBO is a rapidly growing company recognized for its innovative language services, aiming to eliminate barriers to communication. The Business Development Representative will focus on generating new sales opportunities, maintaining client databases, and supporting the sales team in converting leads into customers.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect potential customers via cold calling, email, or other forms of communication to ensure they are added to the sales pipeline and produce more qualified leads
- Maintain the client database to make sure the sales team can access current information on all leads
- Create early stage opportunities from your self-generated outbound leads and record all activities and manage early stage sales funnel opportunities in CRM (HubSpot)
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
- Work within your specific geography to find new business opportunities
- Record monthly and quarterly sales and performance goals to ensure they are being met
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 0-2 years of relevant Sales experience
- Working knowledge of the sales process and CRM software, preferably HubSpot
- Clear and effective communication skills (in virtual environments is a plus)
- Process-driven with attention to detail
- Familiarity with Language Services Industry and technology/business service sales within healthcare, financial, services, and CRO market spaces
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Word and PowerPoint and superior knowledge of Excel
- Authorized to legally work for any employer in the United States
- Willingness to submit to any requested background checks
- Fluent in English
- Experience with Google Drive tools and Mac Operating System
- Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Business, or Related Field preferred
- Ability to work independently in a decentralized environment, without reliance on direct authority
