Pointwest-North America is seeking a high-performing, entrepreneurial Director of Business Development to drive strategic growth and expand their footprint in the US market. The role involves positioning complex IT services and custom solutions to solve critical business challenges for mid-market to enterprise clients in the Banking, Finance, Insurance, and Healthcare sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Drive Revenue: Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within the Banking, Finance, Insurance, and Healthcare industries to meet and exceed annual sales targets
- Solution Selling: Consult with C-level executives and stakeholders to understand their pain points and articulate value propositions centered around bespoke IT services, digital transformation, and managed services
- Leverage Your Network: Utilize your pre-existing network of industry contacts to immediately establish a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Navigate Global Delivery Models: Effectively collaborate with our offshore/nearshore delivery teams to solution, price, and propose competitive delivery frameworks for clients
- Lead the Sales Cycle: Manage the end-to-end sales process from initial outreach and RFP responses to contract negotiations and closing
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of proven track record in IT solution and services selling (e.g., custom software development, digital transformation, QA testing, application management) rather than standard IT product or SaaS licenses
- A strong, established network of decision-maker contacts within at least two of our focus verticals: Banking, Finance, Insurance, or Healthcare
- Proven experience selling services delivered via a blended onshore/offshore delivery framework
- A demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding an individual sales quota of $2M+ annually in IT services
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and C-suite presentation skills
- Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote environment
- Deep understanding of the compliance, regulatory, and technological challenges specific to Financial Services and Healthcare
