Mitchell Martin Inc. is seeking a Founding Head of Sales Development to establish and lead their sales development function. The role involves developing strategies, managing processes, and utilizing modern sales technologies to drive growth, with a clear path to leadership and hands-on involvement in the initial stages.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales development strategies and processes
- Hire, onboard, and manage a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs)
- Establish and track key performance metrics to ensure business objectives are met
- Design compensation plans and assign territories for SDRs
- Scale operations by promoting leaders from within and expanding the team
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a top-performing SDR/BDR and as a first-line SDR manager
- Experience in building or significantly enhancing an outbound sales motion
- Comfortable with high-volume phone-based sales and funnel modeling
- Strong player-coach mentality, willing to engage directly in sales activities
- Ability to conduct credible business conversations with HR/finance buyers or SMB owners
