AI Business Analyst (AI BA)

Simpliigence is seeking a highly motivated AI Business Analyst (AI BA) to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and AI/technology teams. The ideal candidate will gather and document business requirements for AI initiatives and work closely with product managers and engineers to identify opportunities for AI to enhance business processes and customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for AI and Generative AI initiatives
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify AI use cases, process improvements, and automation opportunities
• Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Work with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Support AI solution design, model evaluation, testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Understand AI concepts including Machine Learning, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), NLP, RAG, and AI agents
• Analyze business processes and recommend AI-enabled solutions to improve efficiency and decision-making
• Create process flows, BRDs, FRDs, use cases, and other project documentation
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups
• Ensure AI solutions align with business goals, compliance, security, and ethical AI standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Analyst
• Experience working on AI/ML, Generative AI, or data analytics projects
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience with requirement gathering, stakeholder management, and business process analysis
• Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
• 5+ years (with AI/ML project experience preferred)
