The Choate Agency, part of SFG, is a dynamic company specializing in life insurance solutions. They are seeking a Business Development Representative who is a top-performing sales professional, responsible for generating sales, building client relationships, and conducting market research.
Responsibilities:
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through our award winning tech platform with our proprietary lead system
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify new opportunities for sales growth
- Conduct compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients following our proven system
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve or exceed monthly sales targets based on your goals
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status in the CRM/Tech Platform
- Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align sales strategies and enhance customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in a commission-based role
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools
- High level of motivation and a results-oriented mindset
