The Business Development Representative will identify and secure new clients while maintaining relationships with existing customers, supporting revenue goals by generating qualified leads for the sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Qualify customers and pass to the appropriate Account Executive
- Lead validation, and triage of incoming marketing leads
- Calling to validate unqualified marketing leads, campaign development, cold call prospecting and appointment setting for Field Account Executives
- Effectively utilize the lead qualification process and document information and activities in CRM
- Consistently achieve or exceed individual targets and established metrics to drive achievement of goals
Requirements:
- BA or BS from accredited university or equivalent business experience in technology sales
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Persuasive and unafraid to negotiate
- Possesses excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Organized and self-disciplined, with strong time-management skills
- Coachable team-player focused on winning with integrity
- Prior experience in Business Development, Sales Development or Inside Sales Role preferred
- Experience working with a CRM system, Salesforce preferred
