We are seeking an AI Strategy and Transformation Lead to drive a high-profile AI transformation program within the marketing function of one of the world’s leading financial institutions. This is a senior client-facing role, working directly with marketing leadership to shape and deliver a forward-looking AI strategy - spanning governance, tooling, operating model design, and measurable adoption.
You will operate at the intersection of strategy and delivery: translating executive vision into structured programs, navigating the complexity of a highly regulated enterprise, and ensuring AI capabilities are embedded into how the marketing organization works - not just what it procures.
The qualified candidate will be responsible for the following:
· Lead the end-to-end AI strategy and transformation program for a large marketing function at a Tier 1 financial institution
· Serve as a primary strategic advisor to senior marketing leadership, presenting recommendations and roadmaps to C-suite and senior director-level stakeholders
· Define and evolve the AI strategy, including tool selection, operating model design, governance frameworks, and adoption planning
· Develop and maintain a dual-track program roadmap - balancing near-term wins with long-term transformation objectives
· Facilitate executive workshops that translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable decisions
· Take ambiguous inputs, stakeholder feedback, and shifting priorities, and convert them into structured deliverables with clear owners and timelines
· Produce high-quality strategy decks, briefing materials, and executive presentations; iterate rapidly based on client feedback
· Research and evaluate emerging AI tools, platforms, and use cases - bringing informed, evidence-based recommendations to the table
· Identify blockers to adoption and design pragmatic interventions grounded in organizational behavior and change management principles
The qualified candidate will have the following experience/skills:
· Demonstrated experience leading AI transformation or digital strategy programs in complex enterprise environments
· Strong background in financial services or banking; prior experience operating in highly regulated or high-stakes environments, where governance, compliance, and risk considerations shape how decisions are made, is important
· Exceptional communication and executive presence - comfortable presenting to and influencing C-suite leadership
· Proficiency in developing polished, insight-driven presentations and iterating them quickly against senior feedback
· Technical fluency across the AI landscape: working knowledge of frontier models, LLMs, SaaS/PaaS platforms, and foundational data systems - sufficient to hold credible conversations with both technical teams and non-technical executives
· Familiarity with prominent AI tools, applications, and enterprise use cases across productivity, content, and analytics functions
· Understanding of data foundations and how they underpin AI deployment - familiarity with Lakehouse architectures, SharePoint, and content management ecosystems, and patterns for integrating data infrastructure with AI applications is preferred
· Ability to facilitate structured workshops and simplify complex solution concepts for non-technical audiences
· A track record of developing strategic roadmaps that balance ambition with delivery reality
· Resourcefulness and intellectual curiosity - proactively researching, synthesizing, and applying new information to client problems
· Experience working in agile or structured delivery environments, with comfort managing multiple workstreams simultaneously
