Software Engineer

Temu is a rapidly growing company seeking a highly motivated and experienced software engineer to join their team. The role involves designing and coding for international payment systems, developing scalable backend infrastructure for data lifecycle management, and collaborating with product teams to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for system function design, architecture design, and coding for international payment systems
• Tackle challenges and technical bottlenecks arising from high concurrency, high stability, massive data processing, and complex business models
• Collaborate closely with product teams to achieve overall business objectives
• Develop scalable backend infrastructure to support end-to-end data lifecycle management and governance
• Design and implement core frameworks and tooling to enable secure data processing and ensure regulatory compliance across the organization
• Engineer automated solutions for real-time system monitoring, risk detection, and operational resilience

Requirements:

• 2+ years in software engineering with strong CS fundamentals
• Strong capabilities in system design and distributed systems principles
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and a high sense of ownership
• BS in computer science or equivalent
• Prior experience with Java is a plus
• Experience with privacy compliance is a plus
