
Join a high-impact statewide ERP program supporting mission-critical financial and HR/payroll systems used across Texas government agencies. We are seeking a Senior PeopleSoft CAPPS Systems Analyst to provide technical oversight, application support, vendor management, and enterprise system governance for a large-scale PeopleSoft environment. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience with CAPPS, PeopleSoft FSCM/HCM, SDLC processes, ITIL service management, and Texas state government operations. This is a primarily remote opportunity offering the chance to support complex enterprise systems, drive technical excellence, and collaborate with stakeholders across a statewide platform.
Job Responsibilities
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of experience supporting Texas state government agencies.
10+ years of experience supporting large-scale enterprise application systems.
10+ years of experience managing technical projects and strategic technology initiatives.
10+ years of experience preparing and delivering executive-level presentations.
10+ years of experience managing vendor relationships and enforcing contractual requirements.
10+ years of experience with data integration, data quality, and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
10+ years of technical experience with PeopleSoft FSCM or HCM 9.2.
Strong experience with PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Designer, SQL, PS Query, SQR, Application Engine, and Oracle databases.
10+ years of experience supporting enterprise production environments and deployment activities.
8+ years of experience working within ITIL frameworks and service management processes.
3+ years of experience administering BOSSDesk or a comparable ITIL-compliant service desk platform.
Experience gathering business requirements for large-scale projects.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Experience working independently within distributed and remote teams.
Knowledge of Agile and traditional SDLC methodologies.
Knowledge of information security frameworks such as NIST.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with software and hardware asset management best practices.
Experience supporting statewide financial systems or comparable enterprise financial platforms.
Experience developing technical specifications and requirements for technology procurements.
Experience supporting large-scale ERP environments serving multiple organizations or agencies.
