Senior Automation QA Engineer

Growe is a company that values collaboration and innovation in software development, and they are seeking a Senior Automation QA Engineer to enhance their test automation processes. The role involves designing automation frameworks, collaborating with teams to align testing with business objectives, and maintaining automated test scripts.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop automation frameworks from scratch, enhancing existing frameworks to ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Collaborate with Software/Test Engineers and Product Managers to understand project requirements and ensure automated testing aligns with business objectives
• Implement and maintain automated test scripts using the Playwright framework for functional, integration, regression, and UI testing
• Perform in-depth analysis and debugging of automated test failures, working closely with development teams to resolve issues

Requirements:

• 4+ years of commercial experience in test automation
• Good programming skills in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with Playwright
• Strong experience with client-server architecture and REST API
• Strong experience with SQL/NoSQL databases
• Strong understanding of SDLC and best practices in the software development process (code reviews, CI/CD, etc.)
• Experience in setting up automation frameworks from scratch
• Deep knowledge of test automation processes and approaches
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience with working on complex projects that require a deep understanding of the application's business logic and dependencies
• English - Upper intermediate
