Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master IV to support a high-performing software engineering team delivering complex modernization and enterprise integration initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a strong Agile leader who can drive delivery excellence, remove impediments, manage dependencies, and coach teams toward continuous improvement and predictable outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Partner closely with Product Owners to maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog aligned with business objectives.
- Remove obstacles and manage cross-functional dependencies to ensure smooth delivery.
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile, Scrum, Kanban, estimation techniques, and delivery best practices.
- Coordinate across engineering, architecture, QA, DevOps, business, and support teams.
- Protect the team from scope creep and external disruptions while maintaining focus on sprint goals.
- Monitor and analyze Agile metrics such as velocity, cycle time, throughput, and predictability.
- Support release planning, risk management, and communication across multiple workstreams.
- Promote engineering excellence through adherence to Definition of Done, technical debt visibility, and quality-focused delivery practices.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Delivery Lead supporting software engineering teams.
- Strong experience working in complex technical environments, including modernization, enterprise integration, or distributed systems.
- Deep understanding of Agile frameworks and methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and XP.
- Experience coordinating across architecture, QA, DevOps, and engineering teams.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proven ability to coach teams and stakeholders at varying levels of Agile maturity.
- Hands-on experience with Agile management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or similar platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large-scale modernization or digital transformation initiatives.
- Exposure to enterprise integration, legacy system modernization, or distributed application environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile metrics and continuous improvement practices.
