Global Alliant Inc is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a remote position. The role requires hands-on experience in DevOps engineering, cloud infrastructure management, and automation tools, particularly in AWS environments.
Responsibilities:
- Candidates should bring at least four years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering, build and release automation, and CI/CD pipeline support. This includes experience with tools and platforms such as Harness, Ansible, Jenkins, SonarQube, Sonatype Nexus, or comparable technologies. Experience supporting Windows build automation and administering Windows-based enterprise environments is also expected
- The role requires practical experience designing, provisioning, and maintaining cloud infrastructure, particularly within AWS environments. Candidates should be comfortable working with infrastructure-as-code and cloud automation tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Amazon RDS, and related AWS services
- Applicants should have a strong background in version control and source code management, including experience with Git, SVN, or similar repositories. They should also demonstrate the ability to work across multiple programming languages, automation frameworks, technical toolsets, and deployment environments
- A solid understanding of enterprise application architecture is required, including experience with traditional three-tier application models. Candidates should also have practical Linux systems administration experience in cloud-based environments, along with the ability to automate operational, deployment, and configuration tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Ruby, or similar languages
