SAP Technical Consultant

Title: SAP Technical Consultant (ABAP / PI-PO / BAPI / SAP Work Management)
Location: Remote

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Technical Consultant with strong expertise in SAP ABAP, SAP PI/PO, BAPI/RFC development, and SAP Work Management integrations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting custom SAP solutions, enterprise integrations, and field service management interfaces across SAP and non-SAP platforms.

This role requires hands-on experience integrating SAP PM/EAM with field service solutions such as ClickSoftware, KloudGin, IFS, or similar platforms, along with a strong understanding of SAP Work Manager and enterprise asset management processes.

Key Responsibilities
SAP ABAP Development
Design, develop, and support custom SAP solutions using ABAP.
Develop and maintain RICEFW objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows.
Implement enhancements using BAdIs, User Exits, Customer Exits, and Enhancement Frameworks.
Develop Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Scripts.
Perform performance tuning, debugging, and code optimization using SAP development tools.
SAP PI/PO Integration
Design, develop, and support SAP PI/PO integration solutions.
Create and maintain ESR and Integration Directory objects.
Develop mappings using Graphical, Java, and XSLT technologies.
Configure and support IDoc, RFC, SOAP, REST, HTTP, SFTP, JDBC, and File adapters.
Monitor and troubleshoot interfaces, message processing, and system performance.
BAPI & Interface Development
Design and develop integrations using BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, and Web Services.
Build synchronous and asynchronous interfaces between SAP and external systems.
Develop custom BAPIs and RFC-enabled function modules when required.
Support data migration, real-time integrations, and enterprise application connectivity.
SAP EAM / PM & Field Service Integration
Design and implement integrations between SAP EAM/PM and field service management platforms.
Experience integrating SAP with solutions such as ClickSoftware, KloudGin, IFS, or equivalent field service applications.
Support SAP Work Manager and mobile workforce solutions.
Collaborate with functional teams to support maintenance, asset management, and work order processes.

Required Qualifications
8+ years of SAP technical consulting experience.
Strong hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP development.
Proven experience with SAP PI/PO development and support.
Extensive experience with BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, and SAP integration technologies.
Experience integrating SAP PM/EAM with field service management platforms.
Knowledge of SAP Work Manager or mobile work management solutions.
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
SAP S/4HANA experience.
Experience with SAP Asset Manager, SAP Field Service Management (FSM), or Intelligent Asset Management.
Knowledge of SAP PM, EAM, MM, and Work Order Management processes.
Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
Utility, Manufacturing, Transportation, or Oil & Gas industry experience.
