Revenue Integrity Business Analyst

CSI Companies is a recruiting firm that specializes in healthcare staffing, and they are seeking a Business Analyst to support revenue integrity initiatives. This role involves analyzing clinical documentation workflows and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance diagnosis capture and optimize related processes.

Responsibilities:

• Support revenue integrity and acuity capture initiatives through structured business analysis and documentation
• Analyze in-visit clinical documentation workflows to identify opportunities for improved diagnosis capture and accuracy
• Assist with OPA Alert and suspect review processes, including pre- and post-visit CDI workflows
• Support Epic Pre-CDI and RedRad configuration review, testing, validation, and documentation efforts
• Track CDI resourcing needs, performance metrics, and adoption reporting across clinical workflows
• Prepare detailed analysis deliverables, workflow documentation, meeting notes, and stakeholder updates
• Partner with clinical staff and operational teams to gather requirements and assess process gaps

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in healthcare business analysis, clinical documentation improvement (CDI), or revenue cycle operations
• Foundational knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management, CDI workflows, and risk adjustment concepts
• Experience working with clinical documentation workflows and EHR/EMR systems (Epic strongly preferred)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills
• Ability to engage clinical stakeholders professionally and translate complex concepts into clear deliverables
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, or a related field
• Experience with Epic Pre-CDI, RedRad, or similar CDI tools
• Familiarity with OPA Alert and suspect review processes
• RHIT, CCA, or related Health Information Management certification
