Ivím Health is a telehealth company redefining how care is delivered through an individualized, provider-led model focused on long-term health outcomes. The Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer will be responsible for executing structured, high-quality testing across web, mobile, and cross-system patient journey workflows, ensuring reliability and quality in the user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Review requirements, user stories, tickets, and acceptance criteria to identify test needs, edge cases, and key risks
- Create and execute test cases for patient-facing web experiences, mobile application behavior, and integrated workflows
- Perform regression testing for new releases, bug fixes, configuration changes, and dependency updates
- Support smoke testing, release validation, and post-deployment verification as needed
- Document defects with clear reproduction steps, expected behavior, observed behavior, business impact, and severity
- Work closely with developers to investigate whether issues stem from UI behavior, backend logic, APIs, data conditions, or third-party integrations
- Re-test fixes thoroughly and communicate unresolved or partially resolved issues clearly
- Validate application behavior across supported browsers, responsive layouts, and core device scenarios, with lighter support for mobile-platform coverage as needed
- Test real-world patient and operational workflows that cross frontend, backend, API, and external system boundaries
- Help ensure that critical user journeys function reliably across the full experience, not just within isolated features
- Maintain organized test cases, regression checklists, test evidence, and QA documentation
- Support release-readiness reporting by communicating coverage status, open risks, and major findings
- Contribute ideas to improve QA efficiency, consistency, and team throughput as development work becomes more parallelized
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, software testing, or a similar role
- Experience testing web applications in modern browsers and responsive layouts
- Experience testing mobile applications or mobile-responsive workflows
- Strong manual testing skills, especially around end-to-end workflows and regression coverage
- Experience writing clear defect reports and collaborating directly with developers on issue resolution
- Familiarity with Jira or similar work management systems
- Ability to identify edge cases and test beyond the happy path
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced remote environment
- Experience testing products with API dependencies, third-party integrations, or multi-system workflows
- Experience in healthcare, telehealth, or other regulated environments
- Familiarity with browser developer tools, basic API inspection, and debugging workflows
- Exposure to test automation concepts or tools, even if the primary focus of the role is manual and exploratory testing
- Experience supporting release validation across multiple product surfaces at the same time
