Business Analyst

CVS Health is building a world of health around every individual, aiming to simplify health care for communities. The Business Analyst will act as a liaison between development teams and business units, evaluating business needs and translating them into system requirements while providing operational support.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders and technology teams to foster strong relationships and ensure that their needs and expectations are effectively addressed
• Elicit requirements for requested system enhancements and produce clear and concise specification documents
• Liaise with developers to ensure understanding of specifications
• Perform testing of technology solutions to ensure they meet specifications and adhere to defined quality standards
• Provide operational support in researching and resolving complex inquiries
• Develop SQL queries to support analysis, research, testing, or ad hoc report requests
• Support a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for enhancing efficiency and streamlining how we support our business processes and operations
• Fulfill requests for report refreshes and job executions as needed

Requirements:

• 5+ years of work experience related to business systems analysis
• 1 year of experience in the health insurance or health care industry
• Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience (4 years)
• Medicaid/Medicare experience
• Ability to tackle complex topics and distill into easy-to-understand components
• Effective problem solving and decision-making skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Experience working with complex systems and datasets
• Agile project methodology
