Apexon is seeking a Business Analyst to assist in management and business improvement services. The role involves analyzing strategic goals, gathering user information, and designing systems to resolve work problems, particularly in the eDiscovery environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in analysis for management, organizational and business improvement services including, but not limited to, compiling and analyzing strategic goals; applying methodology, models, and tools; identifying candidate best practices models; and using performance measures, benchmarking, and management standards to support assessments, program audits, and management and policy development
- Gathers information from users, defines work problems, and designs a system and procedures to resolve problems
- Typical duties include multiple areas related to the eDiscovery environment including but not limited to: Identifying and collecting electronic data
- Advanced processing of Electronic Stored Information (ESI) into multiple systems including hand-on file manipulations and conversions; scripting
- Creating users and setting up and using eDiscovery applications; integrating legal systems to improve efficiencies by creating scripts and advanced queries and introducing automated workflow concepts; producing and delivering data; creating reports and procedures; and following reporting requirements
Requirements:
- Demonstrates experience successfully doing similar work, with similar complexity, with minimal support
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
- Certification in an eDiscovery program or related software package (i.e., O365 Concordance, Relativity, RelativityOne, Clearwell) highly desired
