Hightec Energy is a rapidly growing engineering and infrastructure company focused on midstream, downstream, industrial, and energy infrastructure projects. They are seeking an experienced Senior Pipeline & Facilities Mechanical Engineer (PE) to lead mechanical and piping design efforts for various projects and coordinate with engineering teams in the U.S. and India.
Responsibilities:
- Lead mechanical and piping design efforts for pipeline and facility projects
- Develop and review P&IDs, piping layouts, isometrics, alignment sheets, hydrotest calculations, and construction work packages
- Perform field walkdowns and site evaluations
- Support construction and commissioning activities
- Coordinate with Hightec’s India engineering office during daily design transitions
- Interface directly with clients, vendors, fabricators, and contractors
- Review piping stress analysis and coordinate with piping stress/design teams
- Assist with proposal development and project scoping
- Provide practical engineering solutions focused on constructability and field execution
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering required
- Active Professional Engineering (PE) license required
- Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience
- Strong working knowledge of ASME B31.3, B31.4, and B31.8
- Experience in midstream and/or downstream facilities
- Strong understanding of piping systems, facility layouts, and field construction practices
- Ability to independently execute engineering tasks with limited oversight
- Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% as required

- International engineering or EPC project experience preferred
- Software experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Caesar II, and advanced Excel usage
