Damoov is a global API-first telematics and mobility platform, and they are seeking a Market Intelligence Manager, Mobility & Telematics to enhance their understanding of the market and competitors. The role involves tracking competitor activity, analyzing market trends, and providing strategic insights to support product and commercial decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Track competitors, adjacent players, and market developments across telematics, mobility, insurance, fleet technology, and related sectors
- Build and maintain a clear view of how Damoov compares across product capabilities, positioning, messaging, use cases, and market presence
- Develop competitor profiles, battlecards, strategic summaries, and internal reference materials for commercial and product teams
- Monitor shifts in product launches, partnerships, pricing approaches, market claims, and category trends
- Analyze customer-facing messaging in the market and identify opportunities for stronger differentiation
- Support product, marketing, sales, and leadership with research tied to positioning, market entry, customer segments, and strategic decisions
- Turn external research into concise, practical recommendations rather than just background reporting
- Help teams understand where Damoov is strongest, where the market is evolving, and where competitive pressure is increasing
- Contribute to launch preparation, sales enablement, content direction, and strategy work with relevant market insight
- Improve internal processes for storing, updating, and sharing competitive and market knowledge
Requirements:
- Experience in competitive intelligence, market research, strategic marketing, product marketing, business analysis, or a similar insight-driven role
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to structure ambiguous market questions
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into clear, decision-ready outputs
- Strong writing and communication skills in English
- Good understanding of how market insight supports product strategy, positioning, and commercial execution
- Comfort working cross-functionally with product, sales, marketing, partnerships, and leadership
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a structured intelligence workflow
- Interest in telematics, mobility, insurance technology, fleet operations, logistics, or B2B SaaS
- Experience in mobility tech, telematics, insurtech, fleet software, logistics platforms, or connected products
- Familiarity with API-first or platform-based businesses
- Experience building battlecards, competitor matrices, positioning analysis, or market landscape reports
- Understanding of how buyer needs, competitor claims, and category shifts affect go-to-market strategy
- Experience working in a fast-moving startup or scaling B2B company
