Abacus is seeking a Project Manager to support high-impact internal system initiatives that strengthen operational efficiency and enterprise platform alignment. This role partners with C-level stakeholders and various teams to ensure structured governance and successful execution of programs.
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end delivery of assigned initiatives, ensuring alignment to scope, timeline, budget, and defined outcomes
- Establish and maintain structured project plans, milestones, and governance standards to drive execution discipline
- Lead stakeholder engagement across executive leadership, cross-functional teams, and external vendors, providing clear reporting and decision support
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies to protect delivery
- Oversee client onboarding engagements, including kickoff, implementation oversight, transition to support teams, and successful stabilization
- Ensure thorough documentation, knowledge transfer, and formal project closure upon completion
Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with executive stakeholders and lead structured, outcome-focused discussions
- Strong organizational discipline with the ability to drive clarity, accountability, and alignment across cross-functional teams
- Proven experience managing complex initiatives in fast-paced environments, including coordination with third-party vendors and system integrations
- Ability to balance internal operational priorities with client-facing project delivery
- Ability to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively
- Working knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required
- This position requires current U.S. work authorization
- PMP or comparable certification
