The Outside Sales Account Manager will focus on developing and maintaining business relationships while offering technical resources and value-added solutions to industrial customers.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain business relationships
- Provide initial design support and inventory programs
- Conduct hydraulic repair services
- Serve industrial and OEM equipment manufacturers
- Communicate clearly and concisely with clients
- Travel overnight as required
- Utilize computer proficiency for sales tasks
- Apply product application and troubleshooting skills to customer needs
- Engage in value-added industrial sales activities
- Maintain knowledge of fluid power and motion control products
Requirements:
- Two- or 4-year Technical Diploma with preference given to engineering or fluid power programs, OR equivalent training and experience
- Fluid Power certification is a plus
- 2+ years industrial or technical outside sales experience
- Understanding and previous experience working with industrial customers
- Ability to establish and maintain business relationships
- Must have clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Computer proficiency is required
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Overnight travel may be required
- Experience with value-added industrial sales is preferred
- Product application and troubleshooting experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems is preferred
