The Senior Data Governance Project Manager will be responsible for translating complex business needs into actionable solutions, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring solutions align with organizational objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand goals, gather and document business requirements, and analyze current processes to identify opportunities for improvement
- Creating detailed functional specifications, user stories, and workflows
- Supporting solution design, configuration, and implementation in collaboration with technical teams
- Leading requirements workshops, performing impact and gap analyses, and supporting testing and user acceptance activities
- Preparing clear documentation, facilitating communication between business and technical teams, and contributing to continuous improvement of IFG’s methodologies and best practices
Requirements:
- Strong Business Analysis and Business Requirements skills, including eliciting, documenting, and managing requirements across the solution lifecycle
- Proven Business Process expertise, with experience mapping, analyzing, and optimizing workflows in complex organizational environments
- Advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting data, assessing impacts, evaluating options, and supporting evidence-based decision-making
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and create clear, concise documentation
- Experience working as a senior or lead business analyst on technology or digital transformation projects, preferably in the public sector or highly regulated environments
- Familiarity with requirements management and modeling tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, BPMN or similar process modeling tools)
- Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or hybrid), and experience working closely with product, project, and technical teams
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Public Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and maintain strong client relationships
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile or Scrum certifications) are beneficial
