Arrowhead Engineered Products is seeking a Technical Account Manager to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients while identifying new business opportunities. The role involves developing sales plans, engaging with key decision-makers, and managing customer needs to enhance sales strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with multiple clients in a given territory while actively seeking out new business opportunities
- Develop and execute Sales plans to penetrate and expand accounts
- Identify and qualify high-potential opportunities by aligning with current promotions and leveraging new capabilities
- Engage with key decision-makers and influencers to uncover and convert new business prospects
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Account information in the CRM system
- Gain a deep understanding of Customer business objectives and challenges
- Stay informed about our Product offerings, market trends, and the competitive landscape
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to share insights and feedback to enhance overall Sales strategies
- Identify and pursue opportunities to capture additional market share and address emerging Needs within the territory and targeted customers
- Review SKU listings to achieve best share position and optimization of account inventory and purchasing pattern
Requirements:
- High school Diploma / Degree
- 3+ Years of proven experience in outside sales, preferably in automotive electrical systems or after-market parts
- Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tools
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Strong computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Net Suite and CRM experience
- Excellent presentation, forecasting and analytical skills with a strategic mindset
- Organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Manage and implement existing AEP Brand strategies, promotions, programs and objectives to ensure timely and effective outcomes
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
- Strong computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Net Suite and CRM experience preferred
