CVS Health is dedicated to shaping a more connected and compassionate health experience. They are seeking a Senior Analyst, Business Analytics to join the Clinical Engagement Platform Team, focusing on data analysis to support healthcare solutions and improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop an expert level understanding of Signify’s core product offerings and analytics technology
- Write complex SQL queries to extract data from large databases for analysis and predictive modeling
- Provide clinical insights through analyzing data including HCCs, Claims (ICD10, CPT, POS, etc), and HEDIS measures
- Define, track, report out, and explain metrics representing the value of the product
- Develop ad hoc analysis, dashboards, and visualizations to help non-technical consumers easily understand data correlations
- Ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulations like HIPAA
- Deliver defined HCS Clinical Analytics work on time and with high quality
- Communicate and Coordinate regularly with stakeholders to execute strategic priorities
- Other responsibilities as required to ensure company success
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree (graduate degree preferred)
- 3+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, data science or analytics role
- 3+ years of experience in writing SQL queries with strong understanding of databases and ETL processes
- Strong stakeholder communication skills
- Experience in preparing queries and report templates for dashboard and visualization creation in PowerBI or equivalent reporting tools
- Experience with healthcare claims data
- Ability to navigate setbacks in a calm, creative, and consistent manner
- Must be able to travel up to 10% of time for team meetings
- Past healthcare experience with risk adjustment, quality metrics and care management
- Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial offerings
- Strong analytical skills combined with proficiency in understanding, representing, and communicating data-driven analysis to various departments by taking data and telling a story
- Statistical modeling experience is a plus
- Experience with Python is a plus
