About the Role
Seeking a Project Manager I to support the planning and delivery of internal engineering operations initiatives. This entry-level PM role is well-suited for someone who thrives in a collaborative, technical environment and is ready to help engineering teams work more efficiently and effectively. You will partner with software engineers, systems architects, and operations leads to coordinate project activities, remove blockers, and keep work moving across multiple initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end coordination of internal engineering projects including tooling improvements, platform migrations, process automation, and infrastructure upgrades
- Maintain project plans, timelines, RAID logs, and status reports to ensure visibility across stakeholders
- Facilitate sprint ceremonies, project kickoffs, and recurring status meetings capturing decisions, action items, and follow-ups
- Work with engineering leads to define project scope, milestones, and success criteria
- Track dependencies across teams and proactively surface risks and blockers to senior PMs and program leadership
- Assist with resource coordination across engineering squads and help manage competing priorities
- Support intake and prioritization processes for new engineering requests and initiatives
- Maintain accurate project data in tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, or similar platforms
- Help drive process improvement efforts within the engineering ops function by identifying gaps and recommending solutions
Required Qualifications
- -Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience
- -1 2 years of experience in project coordination, technical project management, or engineering operations support
- -Comfort working in a technical environment alongside software and systems engineering teams
- -Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple workstreams simultaneously
- -Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- -Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and at least one project or issue-tracking tool (Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies
- Experience supporting software development, DevOps, or IT infrastructure projects
- Exposure to ITSM frameworks (ITIL) or change management processes
- PMP, CAPM, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is a plus
