They are seeking a Senior HR Business/Data Analyst responsible for transforming complex HR data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions and enhance organizational performance.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze HR datasets to identify trends, risks, and actionable insights that support strategic and operational workforce decisions
- Translate complex data findings into clear, concise recommendations that influence HR and business leader decision-making
- Perform rigorous data validation across HRIS, payroll and timekeeping systems to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Investigate data quality issues, identify root causes, and partner with HR Operations and HRIS to implement corrective actions
- Maintain and document HR data definitions, logic, calculations, and business rules to support data governance
- Design, build, and maintain automated Power BI dashboards that deliver intuitive, high-impact insights for HR and business stakeholders
- Apply visualization best practices to create dashboards that are clean, scalable, and optimized for decision support
- Monitor key workforce metrics and proactively identify trends or anomalies that require leadership attention
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required in Human Resources, Data Analytics, Business, I/O Psychology, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in HR Analytics, workforce analytics, HRIS reporting, or related HR Operations roles
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, measure creation, dashboard design, and optimization
- Exceptional understanding of HR data (workforce structure and demographics, job architecture, payroll, turnover, etc.)
- Strong competency in SQL, Excel and data validation techniques
- Proven experience conducting trend analysis, forecasting, statistical analysis, and KPI reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and effective dashboard design
- Strong understanding of HR data structures
- Exceptional data validation, auditing, and data quality management skills
- Ability to translate complex analytics into clear, actionable insights for all audiences
- Strong SQL and Excel capabilities for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis
- Demonstrated expertise in storytelling with data and creating visually intuitive reports
- High level of business acumen with the ability to connect workforce metrics to operational and financial outcomes
