Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA) is dedicated to delivering high-quality cardiovascular care and advancing scientific discovery through clinical research. They are seeking a Research Project Manager to provide project management leadership for complex initiatives across Cardiovascular Research Solutions, ensuring that research initiatives are well planned and delivered on time.
Responsibilities:
- Provide project management leadership for both straightforward initiatives and complex, cross-functional research initiatives within Cardiovascular Research Solutions
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables for initiatives spanning trial startup, site onboarding, vendor implementation, and strategic research programs
- Track progress, risks, and dependencies; proactively identify and resolve issues to keep projects on schedule
- Support coordination across research leadership, operations, legal, finance, and external partners to ensure aligned execution
- Assist with planning and execution of new vendor partnerships and technology implementations that support research operations
- Organize and support research-related meetings, including sponsor meetings, internal planning sessions, weekly team meetings, and conferences
- Manage calendars, agendas, meeting materials, action items, and follow-up communications
- Prepare project updates, summaries, and materials for research leadership and key stakeholders
- Contribute to initiatives designed to scale Cardiovascular Research Solutions as the network continues to grow
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3–5+ years of experience in project management within a multisite clinical research network, CRO, sponsor, or academic research organization
- Solid understanding of late-stage (Phase II–IV) clinical trial organization and startup processes
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
- Strong organizational, communication, PowerPoint, and problem-solving skills
- Adept at using project management software platforms such as Monday.com, Wrike, or similar tools
- Experience in cardiovascular clinical research
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is a plus
