Temporal is an open source programming model that simplifies code and enhances application reliability. They are seeking a Staff Technical Product Marketing Manager to define and own the positioning of Temporal as a high-performance execution platform, translating deep infrastructure capabilities into compelling narratives for technical audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Own positioning & messaging for Temporal’s platform infrastructure capabilities - including performance, scalability, connectivity, replication, compute, and more
- Develop clear value propositions for how platform engineers and architects should consider running Temporal at massive scale
- Define and evolve the Temporal Nexus storytelling and shape how Nexus fits into the broader platform and architecture narratives
- Plan and execute product launches, announcements, and GTM campaigns related to Temporal's platform infrastructure capabilities
- Create high-quality external content including web pages, blogs, solution briefs, case studies, decks, and sales enablement materials
- Enable sales and solutions teams with messaging, pitch narratives, and objection handling
- Partner with product and engineering teams to influence product strategy based on market, customer and competitive insights
Requirements:
- Senior, strategic product marketer with experience owning end-to-end PMM for complex, technical products
- Comfortable marketing to highly technical audiences including developers, platform teams, and architects
- Able to translate technical concepts into crisp, differentiated messaging without oversimplifying
- Strong storyteller who can create narratives that resonate with both technical and business stakeholders
- Proven track record of influencing product direction and GTM strategy at a senior level
- Highly collaborative, with experience working closely with product, engineering, and sales leadership
- Self-directed and comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
- Detail-oriented in execution but able to think at the system and market level
