NAPCO Media is a fast-paced B2B media organization serving the printing and retail industries. The Account Executive position is a junior-level sales role responsible for driving revenue across a portfolio of B-to-B media brands, focusing on generating new business and building strong client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify, research, and pursue new revenue opportunities across all assigned brands
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline through consistent outbound activity including cold calling, email outreach, social selling, and networking
- Engage decision-makers across target accounts to introduce brand capabilities and uncover marketing needs
- Schedule and conduct discovery meetings to qualify prospects and develop sales opportunities
- Demonstrate a high level of activity and urgency in prospecting efforts, with a strong focus on daily outreach
- Sell integrated media solutions including print, digital, newsletters, sponsored content, video, research, lead generation, and event sponsorships
- Develop customized proposals that align client objectives with available media solutions
- Consistently meet or exceed individual revenue targets and activity goals
- Close new business and transition accounts into repeat advertisers through strong relationship management
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline, and forecasts in CRM systems
- Grow newly acquired accounts by identifying additional opportunities across the full brand portfolio
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to support retention and long-term revenue growth
- Deliver high-quality client service, ensuring campaigns meet expectations and performance goals
- Develop a working knowledge of all media brands and their respective audiences, markets, value propositions, and product offerings
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell and bundle offerings across multiple brands
- Position integrated solutions that maximize client exposure and ROI
- Work closely with internal teams including sales leadership, marketing, audience development, and ad operations to execute campaigns effectively
- Utilize sales materials, research, and insights to support client conversations
- Participate in training and development programs to build sales skills and industry knowledge
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 0–3 years of sales experience (media, advertising, events, SaaS, or B-to-B preferred but not required)
- Strong interest in sales, business development, and client-facing roles
- Demonstrated ability or strong desire to prospect and generate new business
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- High level of energy, resilience, and persistence
- Comfortable making cold calls and engaging new prospects regularly
- Organized with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
- Familiarity with CRM tools is a plus
