This role involves scheduling medical and dental appointments, assisting with health assessments, and addressing customer inquiries while maintaining sensitivity toward military culture.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule medical and dental services based on customer availability and contract guidelines
- Handle inbound and outbound customer interactions related to appointment scheduling and fulfillment
- Assist with health assessment processing and referral follow-ups
- Respond to inquiries related to healthcare services, education, and resources
- Identify potential behavioral health concerns and follow appropriate protocols
- Maintain awareness of service levels and queue status to meet performance standards
- Ensure timely resolution of customer issues with professionalism and empathy
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and professional etiquette
- Ability to build positive relationships with customers, providers, and internal teams
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced contact center environment
