OKX is a leading crypto exchange and developer of OKX Wallet, dedicated to reshaping the future of crypto. They are seeking a dynamic VIP Relationship Manager to manage high-net-worth individual and institutional clients across Africa, Switzerland, and Pakistan, focusing on onboarding, nurturing, and retaining clients while driving volume growth.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the dedicated relationship manager for a portfolio of VIP clients with AUM or trading volume above defined thresholds
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with HNWIs, family offices, crypto funds, and institutional traders
- Conduct regular business reviews and check-ins with top-tier clients to assess satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities
- Act as the internal advocate for VIP clients, coordinating with product, compliance, and operations teams to resolve issues promptly
- Proactively identify and onboard new VIP clients through referrals, industry events, and regional outreach campaigns
- Drive trading volume growth, fee revenue, and product cross-sell (spot, derivatives, earn, OTC, and Web3 products)
- Develop and execute territory-specific strategies to grow presence across Africa (Sub-Saharan and North Africa), Switzerland, and Pakistan
- Represent the exchange at key conferences, summits, and community events in the assigned region
- Stay current on competitive landscape, regulatory developments, and macro trends affecting crypto adoption in Africa, Switzerland, and Pakistan
- Gather and relay client feedback to internal product and strategy teams to influence roadmap decisions
- Identify emerging trends in trading behavior and asset preferences among VIP client segments
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in relationship management, private banking, institutional sales, or brokerage — preferably within crypto, fintech, or financial services
- Proven track record managing high-value client portfolios with demonstrable revenue impact
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport across cultures
- Strong commercial acumen with ability to identify revenue opportunities and close deals
- Deep understanding of crypto products: spot trading, perpetual futures, options, and staking
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent) and data-driven reporting
- Self-starter mentality with ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English is required
- Prior exposure to African markets, Swiss financial services, or Pakistan's fintech/crypto ecosystem is strongly preferred
- Experience working in or with a crypto exchange, trading firm, or Web3 company is a significant advantage
- Proficiency in one or more regional languages is highly preferred: French, Swahili, Arabic, Hausa, Afrikaans (Africa), German or French (Switzerland), Urdu or Punjabi (Pakistan)
