Prolydian is a technology company that provides an end-to-end, SaaS-based solution for high-stakes assessments. The Business Systems Analyst Intern will develop business process documentation through research and collaboration with team members, while also advocating for effective systems within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the CEO, department heads, and leadership team to identify areas of priority for system documentation
- Create systems (documentation) from various sources including but not limited to videos, screenshots, verbal interviews and other sources
- Proactively responsible for creating processes, continuously reviewing and maintaining the accuracy when workflows are modified
- Review all systems and be responsible for ensuring their ease of use, quality, usefulness and consistency
- Work across various departments to make sure that enough documentation is available to generate effective materials for the required audience
- Assist with training new team members with the company’s systemised approach
- Ability to give clear instructions and facilitate systems capture and accurately transfer into a system document
- Encourage and lead team members to support and participate in systems development
- Support team members in understanding the tools and technology related to system documentation management and implementation
- Develop and continuously improve the company's approach for how systems are created, organised and integrated
- Encourage and adhere to the continuous documentation or review of existing processes in all departments of the organization. The creation, updating and finalising of any systems must be done in the relevant area of the company's systems software
- Every system documented should reach a point where another team member can step in and perform that task, to a good degree of accuracy
- Where appropriate, any systems should have corresponding tasks in our project management tool and be interlinked to the appropriate system
Requirements:
- Develop business process documentation via research and interviews of staff
- Develop an understanding and capable knowledge in developing, writing, and editing 'systems' (instructions documenting business processes)
- Advocate for and encourage team members to follow the systems implemented within the organization
- Develop a solid skillset to extract, document, edit and improve systems
- Encourage and advocate the use of company systems
- Teach and guide team members with the company's 'way' of documentation and organization of systems
- Assist in the development of a systems-thinking culture and approach
- Continue studying new approaches to meet and improve the objectives listed above

- Tech-savvy. Must be proficient in using the tools of the trade and have the ability to learn new software quickly
