Reporting directly to one of our Heads of Technology, the Business Analyst role plays a crucial part within IAG Cargo by focusing on understanding business needs and translating them into clear, actionable requirements.
Engage with internal stakeholders across all levels to gather requirements, clarify challenges, and align on project objectives through structured conversations and scheduled sessions.
Build and maintain effective communication channels with key stakeholders to ensure transparency, expectation management, and ongoing alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Apply structured best‑practice analysis methodologies to identify, document, and prioritise business needs, expected benefits, and strategic considerations.
Plan, organise, and facilitate meetings, ensuring agendas, materials, and outcomes are clearly defined and achieved.
Document business requirements in a clear, structured format that enables internal teams or third‑party suppliers to design solutions that meet the defined needs.
Support solution architects and technical teams by contributing to the development of solution options and providing business context during design discussions.
Ensure solution design recommendations align with business priorities as well as IAG Cargo’s domain and technology strategies, standards, and governance models.
Ensure the quality of requirements is up to IAG Cargo standards before their approval and formal sign-off.
Manage workload across multiple projects of varying size and complexity, contributing to high‑level planning, milestone tracking, and basic status reporting.
Assist in delivering change management activities, including stakeholder engagement, communications, and training support to drive adoption of digital solutions.
Requirements
Demonstratable experience performing Business Analysis in Agile and Waterfall.
Experience in business and technology delivery environment.
Experience across multiple countries and cultures.
Experience in Management Consulting.
Ability to identify process gaps, map current vs. future states, and define improvement opportunities.
Strong workshop leader and facilitator.
Effective senior stakeholder management.
Business partnering across a diverse operation.
Strong analytical approach.
Ability to recognize priorities.
Embracing and managing business and IT change.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Educated to degree level.
Recognised Business Analysis qualifications (e.g., BCS Certification).
