Sr. Solutions Architect, Financial Services (FSI) - US Insurance

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a leader in cloud technology, and they are seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect for the Financial Services sector. This role involves designing scalable cloud solutions, building relationships with customer leaders, and guiding customers through complex technical challenges in the insurance industry.

Responsibilities:

• Design and architect end-to-end cloud solutions for complex customer requirements, making technical trade-offs and evaluating architectures for scale while ensuring solutions are extensible, reusable, secure, reliable, cost-optimized, and performant
• Build and maintain relationships with customer senior leaders, understanding their business objectives and technical challenges to influence strategic direction and ensure technology decisions will meet long-term business outcomes
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences, creating technical content that is easily adopted and reusable by others while harmonizing discordant views to build consensus
• Lead technical discussions and dive deeply into technical details with customer teams across application architecture, system design, and implementation considerations, proactively identifying gaps and opportunities
• Drive effective customer feedback gathering, distilling and translating feedback into clear business and technical requirements for product and engineering teams while contributing to reference designs and reusable artifacts
