Senior QA Engineer

Fastn is on a mission to revolutionize how SaaS companies connect with their customers' environments through AI-powered integration infrastructure. The Senior QA Engineer will be responsible for defining, implementing, and optimizing the quality assurance strategy, working closely with engineering, product, and customer success teams to ensure high standards of performance, reliability, and security.

Responsibilities:

• Define and execute test automation strategies for API, backend, and UI testing
• Design and implement performance, stress, and load testing for high-throughput, low-latency systems handling millions of transactions per second/minute
• Develop and maintain automated and manual test suites to validate SaaS integrations, API functionality, and AI-driven automation workflows
• Work closely with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring smooth and reliable deployments
• Implement best practices for API security testing, authentication validation (OAuth, JWT, OpenID), and compliance adherence (SOC 2, GDPR, etc.)
• Identify, document, and track bugs, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining high product quality
• Work cross-functionally with product managers and engineers to define acceptance criteria, review test cases, and mentor junior QA engineers
• Implement tools and frameworks for real-time monitoring of integration health, failure detection, and issue diagnosis
